Lynn and Neil became the hosts of the Highway Lodge Motel as they loved meeting new people and they wanted to offer a pet-friendly accommodation service.
Lifestyle, opportunity, and passion were all things that came to mind before Lynn and Neil decided to move to Balclutha.
The team love getting to meet people from all walks of life and will go out of their way to give you the best tips of where to eat, drink and explore in the beautiful Clutha region!
When they took over the Highway Lodge Motel, the website was outdated (running on old technology) and the motel appealed to a limited market/customer base which made them vulnerable to COVID and seasonal dips. The challenge was:
- to create awareness and grow their potential customer base through social media,
- showcase the quality and uniqueness of the hospitality (such as bring your pets) through a brand video, and
- make it easy for guests to book via the website design and functionality.
